Relevant excerpt / notes
Proposal recites November 16, 2017 base agreement. Assigns city labor, insurance, temporary fencing, gate supervisors, carnival contract, vendors, YPD traffic control, field entertainment, in-house signs, lighting/power and contests to city. Caballeros duties include taxes/licenses, sponsors/tickets, promoter/band contracts, stage/sound/lighting, traffic-control expense, insurance, sanitation/security, support groups, beverages/ice, supplies/VIP area. Certain advertising/promotional costs shared equally. These are historical proposed Tunes and Tacos terms, not evidence of actual expenditures, signatures or the cost allocation for 2026-covered events. The 2021 staff report says the 2020 event was postponed due to COVID-19.
