Relevant excerpt / notes
Section 36-34(I) says change orders exceeding 10% of the original contract, where the amount also exceeds A.R.S. § 41-2535, require Council approval unless the Council-approved original contract provides otherwise. City Code § 36-16 centralizes procurement authority with the City Administrator and Purchasing Agent. These sections do not establish which contract clause or written delegation governed this project's field work.
